Advanced Chronic Venous Insufficiency:
We specialize in the treatment of medically advanced lower extremity venous insufficiency which may include both large and small varicose veins and commonly causes symptoms in the legs including aching, pain, heaviness, tiredness, fatigue, itching, burning, cramps, restlessness, and throbbing. These symptoms are typically best in the morning, and worsen as the day progresses. We have special interests in the treatment of recurrent lower extremity superficial blood clots, venous bleeding, and venous ulceration. Be aware that even the most extensive HUGE varicose veins can now be treated without surgery or general anesthesia, and patients with recurrent veins after first or even second surgical stripping procedures, who may have been previously told there were no further treatment options, may now be successfully treated. Please note that in most cases these types of medically necessary treatments will be covered by insurance carriers, including Medicare, and our insurance coding and billing specialist will help facilitate this process. |

Cosmetic Vein Treatments:
Most small superficial veins can be successfully treated. Our most frequently requested treatment is that of spider veins in the lower extremities, but we also commonly treat veins on the hand and forearm, chest wall, breast, torso, and facial veins. Our goal with all cosmetic treatments is to provide you with the best, longest lasting cosmetic results possible. We avoid the cosmetic “quick-fix” procedures and products which are usually a waste of time and money. Cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance. |
